Alexandra Ushakova was born in Moscow in 1987. She became interested in painting when she was five years old because of her interest she has tried different techniques for the last 20 years such as watercolors, oil painting, pastel, acryl, drawing and ink drawing. She was very close to abandon her desire to draw and dash her creative ideas when she was a student at the Moscow State University, at the Law Department and while her work in a notary office but, when in 2009 she moved to London, everything changed. Having got into an artistic world of London and following her professors’ advice from the London University of Fashion she bought paints and brushes in Soho and painted and drew during all her free time. Painting and drawing was not a part of an academic schedule at the University in London but it was considered that only when you complete your artistic needs you can complete your education.

In 2012 she took part in an exhibition in Moscow and since that time her paintings have became popular among art enthusiasts from different countries in Europe and America. It was just the matter of time when she understood that drawing and painting is what she must do right here and right now and it has naturally became her favorite trade. She does not have a favorite technique at the present time but acryl predominates in her works in which she expresses her feelings and emotions she goes through at parties, at home with her parents and her boyfriend.
